Current research interests
My current research interests include testing the effectiveness of interventions in real world settings, and shedding light on various issues of children in difficult circumstances (e.g., abuse, learning difficulties, children of divorce, children of prisoners, online exploitation). For my doctoral dissertation, I am in the process of developing and testing the efficacy of a program to improve emotion regulation of adolescents with social anxiety.

Current research interests
Angela’s current research interests include Mental Health Literacy (MHL) or the mental health knowledge, attitudes or stigma, and help-seeking efficacies of Filipinos, particularly among Filipino adolescents. Her direction aims to aid in the development of community-based mental health programs to broaden the reach of mental health services in the country.

My research interests include the well-being of adults (especially older adults), hope, wisdom, transcendence, and adaptive resources in (later) life. My other interests include personal goals, role transitions, turning points, and opportunities and how these factors may influence adult development and well-being.

My research interest includes perfectionism, academic motivation, peace of mind, and how these factors affect academic performance among Filipino students. In addition, I am currently interested in creating a strengths-based intervention that aims to improve the wellbeing of Filipinos.
