HopeLab@DLSU partners with LifeRisks on Online Well-Being Self-Evaluation During the COVID-19 Outbreak

The HopeLab@DLSU has been invited by LifeRisks to partner in launching an online well-being self-evaluation questionnaire. LifeRisks is a non-profit youth organization registered under the National Youth Commission that maintains several advocacy programs related to mental health. LifeRisks and HopeLab@DLSU have launched this online survey (#GPULSECOVID19) where participants who may have psychological concerns can answer a short self-report questionnaire and get a preliminary report on their general mental health (e.g., stress, anxiety) and also positive resources (e.g., social support, hope), among others. Participants who are screened might have mental health symptoms are automatically sent mental health self-help tips and links to professional services they can consult. The survey is available in Filipino and in English:

The partnership also involves conducting research on well-being of Filipinos during the COVID-19 outbreak. The members of the #GPULSECOVID19 research team are Norman Mendoza, Adrian Paul Liangco, John Ian Wilzon Dizon, and Leandro David from LifeRisks. LifeRisks first launched GPULSE in April 2019 to help those who would like to evaluate their mental health and well-being following the series of 6.1M earthquakes in Luzon.
